Konstantina Dina Dedi qualified in 1994. She then spent several years in USA for full-timepostgraduate specialty training and teaching.She was awarded a Specialty Degree in Prosthodontics (Fixed, Removable and ImplantProsthodontics) in 1997 and an MSc in Oral Biology in 1999 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Dental Oncology fellowship degree in 1998from the University of Texas-Houston MD Anderson. She then completed a one-year dentalteaching fellowship at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry USA. 

She is currently the Director of Aesthetic Dentistry Programmes and a Principal Clinical TeachingFellow at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute, where she teaches postgraduates in the fields ofprosthodontics, aesthetic and implant dentistry. Prior to her current appointment, she taught for nine years at the University of North CarolinaUSA as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Prosthodontics, Removable Clinics Director and alsodirector of the ITI Implant Prosthodontic Scholarship Program.She has presented numerous lectures and continuing education courses in U.S.A., Europe and theMiddle East on anterior aesthetics and immediate loading of dental implants.

 In 2002 she was awarded the prestigious “Diplomate” status from the American Board ofProsthodontics. (Only recipients of this award are eligible to become Programme Directors inProsthodontic Specialty training Programmes in American Universities).In 2007 she was presented with an Honorary Visiting Professorship from the State Medical andPharmaceutical University “Nicolae Testemitsanu” of the Republic of Moldova.She has been elected a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the AmericanCollege of Prosthodontics (ACP), one of only a few dentists in the UK to have this award. She isa member of the American Dental Society of London (ADSL). She served as the ADSL President in 2018-19. She is the educational director of the funded ITI London Kings Cross Implant Dentistry Study Club.
