Grinding ceramic abutments, trephining or fitting ceramic restorations are a daily challenge for dentists. As a result of a long series of tests, instruments for these special requirements are now available with the ZR grinders. A special bond binds the diamond grains so that the grinding instruments have a significantly improved service life and removal rate compared to conventional diamond instruments.

Due to its high strength, zirconium oxide places high demands on its processing. Given the high material hardness of zirconium oxide, conventional grinders have too short a service life and wear out very quickly. The ZR grinder is a special diamond tool for first-class finishing of zirconium oxide.
